Data recovery and protection

Loss of data is a potential nightmare for any business which is dependant on it's computer systems. Data loss can occur for a number of reasons such as operator error and hardware failure, so it is important to ensure that key business systems have some form of backup regime. Backup and recovery doesn't have to be complicated or expensive, but it is important to have a tested recovery plan in the event that critical data is lost.

At greenOrb we can work with your business to understand what information is critical and implement an appropriate cost effective backup solution. greenOrb can also provide the necessary training and documentation, so that in the event of a recovery situation your staff are fully equipped to respond.

greenOrb also offers a data recovery service. In the event of a failure we can attend site and ascertain whether or not information can be recovered from your storage medium. We currently support recovery from the following mediums:

• USB memory stick
• IDE hard disk
• SATA hard disk
• Memory cards (compact flash, SD memory)

Please note the data recovery services operates on a no recovery, no fee basis if greenOrb are unable to recovery any data. We do reserve the right to charge the customer should partial data recovery be successful.
